Important Instructions for Accepted PapersDue to technical difficulties the eCopyright form will not be used. Please, follow the new instructions for the copyright form submission. (see below step 6) LaTeX and Word templates, camera-ready and copyright instructions are to be found here:
Any question related to this is to be sent to the proceedings
chair: The (hard) camera-ready deadline is November 22, 2007. Please follow the next rules: 1. Camera-ready papers should NOT have page numbers. All numbering will be done by the proceedings editor. 2. Submissions should be identifiable through a filename convention. For main conference papers, please use "ICDE08_conference_XXXX.pdf" where XXXX is the paper number assigned to your submission by CMT (e.g.: "ICDE08_conference_0045.pdf") Note: FOR WORKSHOP PAPERS' NAMING CONVENTIONS, PLEASE CLICK HERE. 3. The page limit is strict and final:
4. Camera-ready papers should be in PDF format and passed through the IEEE PDF eXpress to ensure compliance to the IEEE Xplore format. Please go to the IEEE PDF eXpress site at http://216.228.1.34/pdfexpress/log.asp and open an account by following the link "New Users - Click Here". You will need the Conference ID which is "ICDE08". Then submit your paper(s), to get feedback about their compliance to IEEE Xplore. If not compliant, address the comments on the feedback, and retry until you have produced compliant documents. 5. Submit the final version through the CMT web interface 6. Download and fill the IEEE
Copyright Form. Send the form to the proceedings chair Spyros Voulgaris
to the fax number +41-44-632 14 25 or email it to spyros-icde
[AT] inf.ethz.ch by December 10. 7. Report the correct order of authors. The reported order will
be used for the program brochure, the conference web site, etc. Send an
email to Spyros Voulgaris at spyros-icde [AT]
inf.ethz.ch with subject "xxx", replacing xxx by you paper
number.
8. At least one author per paper should register by the early deadline of 10 January 2008, for the paper to be included in the proceedings. 9. No show-ups will eliminate a paper from the official
proceedings on IEEE Xplore.
